Leader of the Opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, while addressing a gathering, said that today is the Hindu New Year, and on this occasion, we must take a pledge that Hindus have awakened. He stated that earlier, Hindus constituted 85% of the population, but now it has declined to 67%. He warned that if they still do not wake up, their population could fall below 50% in the next 10-15 years.
